Despedida en el IES Meléndez Valdés de los participantes en el Erasmus+ «Lead»

La de ayer viernes 29, fue una noche inolvidable y muy divertida para todos los que asistieron a la despedida en el IES Meléndez Valdés de los participantes en el Erasmus+ «Lead» de este año: coreografías con música actual, bailes regionales, flamenco en estado puro, rico picoteo y un enriquecedor intercambio cultural.

1424 EUROS RECAUDADOS POR EL TALLER DE JARDINERÍA PARA LA ASOCIACIÓN ESPAÑOLA CONTRA EL CÁNCER

Esta mañana ha tenido lugar en el salón de actos del IES Meléndez Valdés la entrega de los 1424 euros que el Taller de Jardinería del centro ha recaudado en sus múltiples actividades realizadas para donar el importe a la Asociación Española de lucha Contra el Cáncer (AECC).

Ha sido un bonito acto en el que el presidente provincial de la AECC ha agradecido enormemente la labor del centro por su implicación y ha terminado con la actuación de nuestra alumna, Elsa Tortonda, que ha interpretado una canción de Rozalén, «Vivir», que lanza un mensaje positivo sobre esta enfermedad.

El IES Meléndez Valdés recibe la visita de polacos, italianos y búlgaros. Durante esta semana se está desarrollando la última movilidad del proyecto Erasmus+ «LEAD». Después de haber visitado Bilgoraj (en Polonia), Burgas (en Bulgaria) y Bosa (en Cerdeña, Italia), alumnos y profesores del instituto de Villafranca han acogido y están conviviendo durante esta semana con el resto de alumnos y profesores europeos. El encuentro comenzó el lunes con la recepción en el instituto por parte del director y una visita al mismo y la primera sesión de trabajo. (La temática en España con este proyecto es la integración y la diversidad). Después hicimos una visita a la cooperativa San José para dar a conocer parte de nuestra producción. En la jornada del martes han podido conocer Elvas y así visitar el país vecino.

CAMPAÑA DEL KILO EN EL IES MELÉNDEZ VALDÉS

SEMANA CULTURAL

Exitosa ha sido la campaña del kilo en el IES Meléndez Valdés durante la semana cultural que ha dado como fruto la cifra de 1200 kilos de alimentos no perecederos: pasta, legumbres, conservas, aceite y azúcar.

La comunidad educativa de nuestro instituto ha colaborado en esta campaña del 20 de febrero al 1 de marzo y el jueves, 28 de febrero, día del centro, pudieron hacerlo tanto alumnos como profesores que nos visitaron de otros centros. La recaudación de alimentos ha sido, para la Asociación de Amigos del Pueblo Saharaui (Caravana Solidaria) y para Cruz Roja de Villafranca. De esta manera, haciendo algo que cuesta muy poco contribuimos a paliar la desfavorable situación por la que, por diversos motivos, están atravesando muchas personas. Por todo ello SUKRAN, GRACIAS.

Feminism is a collection of movements and ideologies aimed at defining, establishing, and defending equal political, economic, and social rights for women. This includes seeking to establish equal opportunities for women in education and employment.
